Friends and Community Partners,

 

I am honored to serve as the 7th Basileus of Chi Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and I'm excited to lead our sisterhood with G.R.A.C.E. -Grounded in Purpose, Resilient in Leadership, Ambitious in Vision, Collaborative in Spirit, and Empowered for Excellence.

 

For two decades, Chi Chi Omega has been a pillar of service in Central Indiana, and our commitment to transforming lives has never been stronger. Our work speaks for itself: over the past four years, our collective dedication has generated more than $515,648.99 in economic impact within Black-owned businesses. During our signature June Black Dollar Days alone, we've directed $164,257.13 to support the entrepreneurs who are the backbone of our community.

 

But our impact extends far beyond dollars. We've nourished families with over 100,000 non-perishable food items through our three community food boxes. We've empowered more than 400 women through our Emerging Women in Business Summit. We've mentored 100+ young girls through our PEARLS program, planted 546 trees to beautify our neighborhoods, and provided 17 free mammograms through our health partnerships. We've championed education, advocated for families, and stood firm for social justice.

 

At the heart of our work is our premier partner, the Emerging Pearls Foundation, Inc., which works tirelessly to improve and sustain the quality of life in Central Indiana through financial support of initiatives in education, family advocacy, social justice, health and wellness, and economic stability. But this much is clear- We can't do this work alone (and we don't want to!). We believe in the power of collaboration and invite community organizations, businesses, and leaders to partner with us. Together, we can amplify our impact, strengthen our community, and create lasting change in Central Indiana. Our goal is to be of service to all mankind!
